Application Form
To fill in the application form you need to go at
www.aegee.org/su and
l
og-in. Your
browser need to be set up to accept cookies (usually it automatically is),
otherwise the log in page will appear you again, the same thing will happen if
you do not type correctly your username or password.
It's anyway possible to apply also not logged-in.
Remember the bold fields with * are obligatory.
E-mail: it’s really important to write an e-mail account you often check.
You have to enter your mail twice
AEGEE-Local:
It’s your local section. Pay attention if you make a mistake here
you will lose
your application!!!
Events
attended: if this is not your first Aegee event, write down in how many
Aegee events you already took part.
AEGEE-Functions: if you are not board member, and active at any european
level, simply write “member”.
DISABILITY: If you have any kind of problem contact us or your local
section and we will help you to chose the right SU. If you are not disable leave
it blank.
MY IDEAL SU: write what you would expect from the SU you would like to
attend.
WHICH EVENTS? or choice of destinations. You can
chose up to
3
in order of preference. A computer will immediately assign you a pre-selection,
considering your preferences and the total amount of requests received for each
destination. It's compulsory to indicate at least 2. To be QUITE sure your first
choice would be pre-selected, check "Respect my order of preference", otherwise
if the most important is just to attend an SU, no matter the destination, check
"Give me the SU that
maximizes my chances of finding a place" and the computer will select the one
(of your choices) suits best.
Important: if you would like to travel with one or more friends (but this
is not the spirit of the Summer University project), you have to check "Respect
my order of preference" to be QUITE sure your first choice would be pre-selected
(obviously it has to be the same first choice as your friends). Avoid to write
the same motivation letter.

Now read all carefully, check you did not miss any compulsory
field (otherwise you will need to restart from beginning), and click "I agree

already know for which destination you are pre-selected and miss only to write
your motivation letter. In the
following page some suggestion on how to do it,
but here the most important: Write it using Word (it corrects you the
grammatical errors as well) and then simply copy and paste it.
VISA information: If you need a visa fill in this part and when you will
be selected contact immediately the organizers and remember them you need a visa
and they have to send you as soon as possible the invitation letter.
