04-23 August Language Course Plus: Let's go straight to the Strait!
Type:
italian language course and some classes about: Mafia, European
Integration, Sicilian history. This event is suitable only for university
students.
Course level:
The course is divided into two level
(Beginner and intermediate), so 2 classes will be formed with around 25 students each.
Beginners will learn the basic of the Italian language: grammar and useful phrases.
Intermediate focus more on grammar and how to held a conversation properly.
Participants:
Participants must be university students.
We will accept a maximun of 50 persons.
Fee:
Euro 330,00 included extra fee + euro 448,00 of lodging&food costs (this euro 448,00
will be covered by our University institution E.R.S.U. Messina, either payed by them directly to us
or given to you, which case the total fee you shiould pay us for the event is euro 778,00.
Obviously you will eventually pay the 448,00 euro only when you get them).
Extra Fee:
The extra fee (60 euro) will cover the cost of the excursions (Scilla,
Taormina, Mount Etna, Syracuse...) as well as part of the social program (mostly bus transfer to Disco for
the parties in the evening). Actually the costs of these activities are higher than just 60 euro,
but this was the maximun extra fee an Antenna is allowed to ask :)
Working Languages: English and Italian.
Teaching staff:
The course will be kept by teachears with previous experience of teaching italian to foreigners. Language course is integrated with lessons and visits about sicilians history of art and institutions
Equipment:
Just bring with you a notebook and a pen to take notes during the lessons. All the studying material will be provided by the teachers.
Course location: University
Timetable: The classes will be generally held from Monday to
Friday in the morning form 9 to 13. But some cultural visits or workshops may as well take part in the afternoon or evening.

In the heart of mediterannean sea with his colours and smells, you will enjoy the best of Sicily, discover its history with greek temples, arabian markets, norman and spanish buildings and of course will learn Italian. We will visit the hidden beauties of Sicily: Taormina with is romantic views, Etna Volcano, Syracuse and much more. Not to mention swimming, sunbathing time and party time.
There will be a culture tour program. For sure we are going to
visit (at least): Regional Museum of Messina (Caravaggio paints inside);
Taormina greek theater; Archeological Museum in Agrigento; Temple Valley in
Agrigento....
Not to mention the European Night, Treause Hunt, overdose of
sunbath, lot of disco parties in warm nights under a starry sky, and much

During this event you will be plenty of fun and parties, but it is still an university program, so a proper behavior is kindly appreciate. If your plan is to get drunk every day, skip all the classes, and make as much noise as possible, please do not apply.
